The entire WNBA world is gearing up for the inaugural season of the Unrivaled League on January 17 this year. Napheesa Collier, who plays for the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA, is making her Unrivaled debut with the Lunar Owls team. In fact, Collier is one of the co-founders of the league along with Breanna Stewart.
The Unrivaled League was apparently founded by Collier and Stewart to help female basketball players get some time on the court during the offseason. Plus, the league also aims to be the highest paying league for female basketball players everywhere. Recently, Collier posted a few behind-the-scenes pics from her Lunar Owls photoshoot to which many sports celebs reacted.
In the Instagram post, Collier posted a pic of herself, along with her husband and her daughter, Mila. In the second pic, Collier and Mila can be seen flashing toothy grins for the camera, while the third showed Collier holding up two basketballs in her Lunar Owls uniform. The next one showed her with her Lunar Owls teammates, including Cameron Brink, while the fourth pic showed her and Brink posing for a quick selfie.
Cameron Brink reacted with an Owl emoji, followed by heart-shaped hands and dazzling stars emojis. When Brink has certainly signed with the Unrivaled League, she will not be expected to play until 2026 since the player is still recuperating from her ACL injury. Despite this, she is expected to contribute greatly to the Lunar Owls team, especially in terms of training and support.
Cameron Brink Celebrates Birthday In Style
While the entire world was holding its breath for the New Year to be born, Cameron Brink was already celebrating since it was her birthday on December 31st. Just like everything she does, Brink celebrated her big day in a unique way, donning a glow in the dark black and white dress with an asymmetrical hem, along with black pantyhose and pointed heels.
The WNBA star also posted pics of her celebrating her day with close friends, eating a sushi platter and getting sudsy in a bubble batch. The Los Angeles Sparks star manifested a ‘new knee’ in the new year after turning 23 years old. Before joining the Sparks in the WNBA, Brink played college basketball for Stanford University.
Despite injuring her ACL, which paused her WNBA career, Cameron Brink had an eventful year, getting on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and also getting engaged to Ben Felter. Furthermore, Cameron Brink went on to attract plenty of attention to her social media pages, and even landed a number of brand endorsements.
