Cameron Brink recently opened up about her experience in trying to hire a private chef for herself, but eventually realized that she could not afford it.
In one of the recent episodes of her podcast “Straight to Cam,” Cameron Brink had ZChicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball as a guest. At one point in the episode, Rbink talked about one experience where she tried to hire a private chef during her off time due to her ACL injury.
“I tried to hire a private chef when I was injured, but it ended up being like …” Brink said. “I think the main issue was she shopped at Erewhon every single time.”
“It’s just too expensive,” Brink replied. “I don’t have an NBA salary, unfortunately.”
The pay gap between NBA and WNBA players remains one of the most debated topics in professional basketball. On average, an NBA player earns nearly 100 times more than a WNBA player, with NBA salaries reaching $10.5 million per year, while WNBA salaries average around $116,000.

This disparity is largely due to revenue differences, as the NBA generates billions annually through TV deals, sponsorships, and ticket sales, while the WNBA operates on a much smaller financial scale.

Cameron Brink Shares Advice on Dealing With Online Hate: “Touch Grass”
In a recent interview with NBC, Cameron Brink talked about dealing with hate online and striking a balance in using social media.
“I don’t know how this will sound, but I would truly say like touch grass,” Brink said. “Like go outside, read a book. As much as it looks like I’m on social media, that is the facade. Like my social media is how I make money. So you don’t see me, if you see me like in a setting with my team, my friends, I’m not on my phone. I try to be on my phone as little as possible, even though I’m not super successful at that.
“But life is so much more than social media. It’s so much more than the drama in high school. High school is four years of your life. I wish I could see that now or I wish I knew that when I was in high school at the time. … It looks like everyone’s living and leading these perfect lives. It’s not true. And, you know, life’s about what you cultivate outside of it.”Cameron Brink continues her recovery and training and is expected to make a comeback sometime this season.
