Cameron Brink, Los Angeles Sparks forward, recently had rapper/YouTuber NLE Choppa on her podcast ‘Straight to Cam’, and the episode spilled plenty of tea about the hooper’s life on and off the court. Along with the rapper, Brink also had her co-host Sydel Curry-Lee in the episode.
One of the topics discussed by Brink was her meeting NLE Choppa for the very first time at an event hosted by Steph Curry as a promotion for his whiskey brand, Gentleman’s Cut. Brink was curious to know what NLE Choppa thought of her as a first impression.
“My first impression, I’m not gonna lie, it has to be like you were tiring. I was like, ‘She’s so tall.'” NLE Choppa said about Cameron Brink in the latest ‘Straight to Cam’ podcast episode.
Apparently, the rapper/YouTuber was already quite impressed with Cameron Brink as a basketballer, and already admired her along with numerous other talented female basketball players. NLE Choppa also remarked that he is an ardent supporter of women’s basketball and is happy about the evolution that the game is going through right now.
Cameron Brink has been impressive on the court, even if her time in the WNBA has been quite limited until now. Brink was selected by the Los Angeles Sparks as the second overall pick in the very first round of the 2024 WNBA draft. However, her rookie season was cut short after the 23-year-old tore her ACL.

Cameron Brink Picks Jimmy Butler As One Of Her Favorite Players
Meanwhile, Cameron Brink lately picked Golden State Warriors power forward Jimmy Butler, as one of her favorite players. Popular comedian Jimmy Yang, turned this news into his favor by joking around that Brink has picked him over other NBA players as her favorite.
After having a tumultuous few months with the Miami Heat, Jimmy Butler finally got what he wished for and was recently traded to the Golden State Warriors to play alongside Steph Curry. Since the move, Butler has been on fire, and has been a lead scorer for the team, along with the likes of Curry, Draymond Green, etc. Currently, Butler holds an impressive 17.1 point in each game as an average, grabbing 5.7 rebounds and assisting 5.5 times in every matchup.

Butler joined the Miami Heat back in 2019, after being traded from the Philadelphia 76ers. While things seemed to be going swimmingly between the player and the team for some time, Butler put in a trade request a couple of months back. This resulted in some major locker-room drama, giving plenty of fodder for discussion forums.
