Cameron Brink’s mother, Michelle Bain-Brink, recently shared a post from the @stanfordwbb, showing off her daughter’s skills from her time at the university during the 2023 March Madness. Brink played for the Stanford Cardinal from 2020 to 2024, and in her first season with the team, she won the NCAA championship.
Brink was eventually picked up by the Los Angeles Sparks as the second overall pick in the very first round of the 2024 WNBA draft. While Brink showed plenty of promise as soon as she stepped into the league, her rookie season was unfortunately cut short after she injured her ACL. Brink is still undergoing rehab for her ACL injury.
“That’s what greatness looks like 👆,” the caption of the Instagram post by @stanfordwbb said.

Michelle Bain-Brink is one of Cameron Brink’s biggest supporters, and can often be seen in the comments section of her daughter’s posts. In fact, some time back, Bain-Brink called out a troll who dropped an insensitive comment on one of Brink’s outfits.
Cameron Brink has also commended her mother for helping her develop a keen sense of fashion. Both being very tall women, Brink and Bain-Brink have challenges in finding clothing that flatters their height. However, with her mom’s advice, Brink has eventually turned into a major fashionista, both on and off the court.

Cameron Brink’s Alma Mater Does Not Make It Past The Portland Pilots
While Cameron Brink’s college basketball team, the Stanford Cardinal, did indeed win the NCAA championship one time when she was part of the squad, the team has performed terribly this time around. The Stanford Cardinal finished 11th in the Atlantic Coast table with an 8-10 conference score and 16-15 overall, ten spots below the ruling Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Stanford made it to the ACC tournament and lost to the Clemson Tigers with an embarrassing 63-46 final score, after Courtney Ogden chalked up 13 points on the scoreboard, with three rebounds and a pair of helpers. Chloe Clardy contributed seven points for the team in the losing effort, while Mary Stevenson and Tess Heal each matched five points for Stanford.

After losing in the ACC tournament, the Stanford Cardinal still managed to play one more game for their season against Portland for the Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament. In that game, Stanford lost with a very tight score of 69-68. In this season, Stanford’s lead scorer was Nunu Agara who managed a 15.8 point average per matchup.
