Former NBA legend Carmelo Anthony discussed the viral video of Michael Jordan dancing to the hit rap song “Not Like Us.”
In his podcast 7 PM in Brooklyn, Carmelo Anthony talked about the viral moment where Michael Jordan went to a club and was caught in a video dancing to “Not Like Us.” Reportedly, the DJ at the club at that time was not taking requests but made an exception for Jordan.
“Is ‘Not Like Us’ officially the GOAT diss song after the GOAT himself requested it to be played in the club?” Anthony asked. “He GOATed it.”
“Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar is considered controversial due to its explicit diss against Drake, including allegations of serious misconduct, which sparked a high-profile feud and legal battles. Eventually, the track has resonated deeply with Black communities, evolving into an anthem of resistance and identity.

Carmelo Anthony Gets Honest About Nuggets Firing
Also in his podcast, Carmelo Anthony got honest about his feelings towards the news of the Denver Nuggets firing their head coach and general manager, with only a few games left in the regular season.
“Y’all looking at this as a wash,” he said. “They’re already believing we can’t do nothing internally.”
Anthony also asserted that star center and three-time MVP Nikola Jokic should have “called bu*****t on the firing of the team’s head coach near the end of the regular season.
The Denver Nuggets front office made a shocking decision to fire their head coach, Michael Malone, just three games before the playoffs. Malone, who led the Nuggets to their first-ever NBA championship in 2023, was dismissed due to the team’s recent struggles, including a four-game losing streak and inconsistent performance post-All-Star break.

Despite holding the fourth seed in the Western Conference, the franchise’s front office felt this move was necessary to maximize their chances for another championship run. General Manager Calvin Booth was also let go, with assistant coach David Adelman stepping in as interim head coach.
The decision sparked mixed reactions. Nuggets Vice Chairman Josh Kroenke expressed gratitude for Malone’s contributions but emphasized the need for immediate changes. Fans and analysts were stunned, given Malone’s success and the timing of the move. The firing has left the team in a state of uncertainty as they prepare for the playoffs.

In his podcast, Anthony also pointed out how these sudden extreme decisions may affect the Nuggets roster.
Carmelo Anthony is primarily known for his time with the Denver Nuggets and the New York Knicks. He began his NBA career with the Nuggets in 2003, where he quickly became a star and led the team to multiple playoff appearances.
