People Magazine must review the way they select their winners as Charles Barkley has something to say about their pick for the Sexiest Podcast Hosts of 2024. Or better yet, Travis and Jason Kelce should have the initiative and return the award.
The NBA legend dropped a hilarious comment about the two NFL royalties after they were named for the award. Barkley thinks he and his Inside the NBA co-host Ernie Johnson should have gotten it.
“Now see, now y’all just messing with Chuck and Ernie,” Barkley said on Tuesday.
He also claimed that Johnson is better looking than one of the brothers.
“They’re not nearly as good looking as me and Ernie,” he added when Kenny Smith asked why he was upset.
“Let me tell you something: Travis might be slightly better looking than me, but Ernie’s better looking than Jason.”
Charles Barkley, rest of Inside the NBA banters
Barkley, together with Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Shaquille O’Neal are well-loved hosts for their banters in the show.
It is as if they are not going to be shelved soon.
The hosts will continue with TNT but their contract will expire soon. They are not sulking about it though as in the same episode, they managed to make fun of their pending departure from the network.
Johnson talked about their return on November 12 and from there, the joke got even bigger.
Ernie Johnson: “When we come back on [November 12], that’s when the [NBA Cup] games begin. Tuesdays and Fridays.”
Charles Barkley: “Wait, we gotta work on Friday?”
“No. Another network.”
“In fairness, our stuff’s gonna be on another network too.” 🤣pic.twitter.com/EKKddFAdvJ
