Las Vegas Aces point guard star Chelsea Gray is taking no break following her success in Unrivaled, as she flexes her workout routine in preparation for the 2025 WNBA season.
In a new post on the Instagram page of the Las Vegas Aces, Chelsea Gray was featured in a practice session, interacting with her teammates and throwing some hoops around.
“POINTGAWD at work,” they captioned the post.
Gray went to her Instagram account and shared the post, adding in her own caption.
“Loading…” she wrote.
Chelsea Gray had a solid 2024 WNBA season with the Las Vegas Aces, contributing as a key playmaker and leader. She averaged 8.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game, showcasing her ability to facilitate the offense and support her teammates.
Despite her efforts, the Aces fell short of their goal to secure a historic three-peat, losing in the semifinals to the New York Liberty. Gray’s performance remained consistent, but the team faced challenges in maintaining their dominance, ultimately ending their championship streak.

Chelsea Gray Spent WNBA Offseason Inside The Court
Aside from training for the 2025 season of the WNBA, Chelsea Gray also kept herself busy playing inside the court as she took part in the inaugural season of the new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league, Unrivaled.
During the new league’s season, Gray led her team, Rose BC, to the championship title, securing a 62-54 victory over Vinyl in the finals. Gray’s performance throughout the playoffs was nothing short of spectacular, earning her the prestigious Unrivaled Finals MVP award.

She averaged 28.5 points, 6 assists, and impressive shooting percentages of 49% from the field and 44% from three-point range during the postseason.
When asked about her thoughts on winning not only the championship but also the Finals MVP, Gray had a bold statement directed at her doubters.
“Keep that same energy. … I got the receipts who’s talking s—.”

The quote may be referencing Rose BC’s initial projection to finish last among all Unrivaled teams. Additionally, Gray faced criticism following her return from a foot injury that sidelined her for a significant portion of the 2024 WNBA season. Some believed her performance upon return did not warrant her inclusion on the Olympic roster that summer.
With her Unrivaled success, Chelsea Gray became the only player in basketball history to win a WNBA title, WNBA Finals MVP, Olympic gold medal, Unrivaled championship, and Unrivaled Finals MVP.
