Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball received a new meniscus from a 20-year-old in South Dakota who passed away. On Wednesday, Ball met his donor’s family ahead of the Bulls-Heat game in Chicago.

Dr. Brian Cole met Lonzo in an emotional tribute to the life that helped him get back on the court. After a groundbreaking transplant surgery and a determined recovery, Lonzo now honors the legacy of a young man who made it all possible.
Alex Reinhardt played football at Morningside University. Reinhardt tragically took his life a couple of years ago, but he will still impact the sports world for years to come thanks to being an organ donor.
