The Chicago Bulls have lost eight of their last 10 games, including yesterday’s 122-117 defeat against the Los Angeles Clippers. As a result, they slipped to 23-36 – good for 10th in the Eastern Conference.

The Chicago Bulls have been mostly competitive during their slump, and Josh Giddey is a huge reason why. The Australian international has been shooting over 50 percent (52.2 percent to be exact) from three-point land in February, drawing the attention of fans and head coach Billy Donovan.
“The one shot that he has clearly shot a lot better than maybe in the past has been the three. But I think the one thing about him from the three-point line is that he’s taking good ones. A couple times, quite honestly, he bailed us out tonight. We had a couple late clock situations and the ball was in his hands and he goes up and makes a shot for us, which is huge,” Donovan said about Giddey after the Los Angeles Clippers loss via Scotty White of ClutchPoints.

“He works really hard on his shooting,” he continued. “He spends a lot of time doing it, but I think the ones he’s taking are good, he’s also getting into the teeth of the defense and not shooting a lot of those runners, so to speak.”

Josh Giddey was one of the Chicago Bulls’ top scorers against the Los Angeles Clippers with 21 points, eight rebounds, 12 assists, and four three-pointers on 8-for-14 shooting from the field.

As pointed out by ClutchPoints on X (formerly known as Twitter), the former sixth overall pick became the third guard in Chicago Bulls history to notch four consecutive 20-point double-doubles alongside Clem Haskins and Michael Jordan.
