The Chicago Bulls completed a regular season sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers after notching their second straight win against them last night. After blowing them out 146-115 last Saturday, they followed it up with a 119-117 result yesterday.

Josh Giddey hit the biggest shot of the day by converting a halfcourt heave over LeBron James’ contest. Giddey’s teammates mobbed him after sending the United Center crowd into pandemonium.
The Australian international posted another all-around performance against Los Angeles. Giddey had 25 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals, and four three-pointers on 8-for-19 shooting from the field.

Coby White top-scored for the Chicago Bulls with 26 points. Kevin Huerter, Nikola Vucevic, Matas Buzelis, Patrick Williams, and Zach Collins added 21, 14, 12, 11, and 10 points.
Chicago Bulls News: Josh Giddey gets 100% real on his game-winning shot vs. Los Angeles Lakers
After Austin Reaves drove for a layup to give the Los Angeles Lakers a 117-116 lead with 3.3 seconds left, the Chicago Bulls had no timeouts to run a final play.

Giddey inbounded the ball to Patrick Williams and got the ball back before pulling up from the Chicago Bulls logo. He held his follow-through as the ball swished through the net.
“As soon as it left my fingertips, it looked good,” Giddey said via CHSN’s KC Johnson. “That’s kind of why I held my follow-through the whole time. I had that feeling. It looked straight. It felt good. Special night. Comeback win. It was a helluva team effort. We’ll enjoy this one.”
