The expected No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft Cooper Flagg suffered an injury during Duke’s contest against Georgia Tech in the ACC Tournament on Thursday.
The Blue Devils entered the quarterfinal round in the ACC Tournament as the No. 1 team in the country. However, Duke started off slowly against the Yellow Jackets, trailing 26-17 with 2:46 remaining in the first half when Flagg fell to the hardwood at Spectrum Center in Charlotte with a painful injury.
Cooper Flagg suffered an injury

Flagg was seen rolling around and holding his left ankle before getting up on his own power. The freshman needed help walking off the floor to see medical attention. He left the locker room for further evaluation.

Flagg scored two points and recorded four rebounds and two steals before the injury.
Fans worried about Duke Basketball’s hero

Fans were worried about the star’s status as he headed into the locker room.
“That ain’t good! Hoping it’s nothing serious,” wrote a fan.
“Duke will be lucky if he escapes with just a mild sprain and only missing the rest of the ACC Tournament,” suggested a fan.
“That did not look good, hopefully nothing is broken and the ligaments are fine,” posted another.
“That was a bad roll. Ive had them. Hurts right through your whole body. But sometimes it just takes a week or so if xray is cool otherwise. Johni Broome had a bad one too this yr. Missed 2 wks I think,” suggested a fan.
“Last time you’ll see him in a Duke uniform,” believes a fan.
“This might be his way out of the Wizards,” wrote another.
