Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving has a lot of free time. On Tuesday, he was once again on a live broadcast. During his stream, he gave a warning to the fans who make fun of New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns. Irving defended his fellow star, who’s often the subject of jokes and memes on the internet.
Also, the star point guard utilized the opportunity to let the fans know that he wants to appear as a guest on the “Club 520 Podcast.” The show is hosted by former NBA star Jeff Teague, together with Brandon Hendricks and DJ Wells. The podcast is known to be one of the most entertaining sports podcasts due to Teague’s storytelling.
The Mavericks star told his viewers that he wants to be on the show with Teague.
“Real talk, weactually gotta do something,” Irving said. “Tell me who I need to reach out to on Twitter, man. I’ll reach out to them. Let them know. Tell Jeff Teague I’m trying to get on his podcast.”

With the NBA Finals going on and the battles they had against each other, fans could get a lot of basketball content if the Dallas Mavericks star appears as a guest.
Teague revealed what it felt like playing against the Dallas Mavericks star
While Teague was active in the league, he had memorable battles against the Dallas Mavericks star. At that time, both guards were playing in the Eastern Conference. The Atlanta Hawks had the 12-year veteran, and Irving was with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In his show, Teague talked about what it was like to guard the former Duke star.
“At one point in my career, I guarded Kyrie more than anybody in the NBA,” Teague started. “So, I’ve experienced those islands and his shot-making ability was always the thing for me.
“I remember one game we played in Indiana. I guard him — I litterally guard him for 18 seconds. I remember watching the clip whem I came back and I was guarding my a** off and he hit a fall out fadeaway. I never got any help… After the game, I watched the clip and I was just like, ‘What the f**k am I supposed to do?'”

Teague revealed that Irving had 37 points against him that game. One of his producers, however, pointed out that the Dallas Mavericks guard had at least 20 points in every game they played against each other, except their first matchup, where he had 18.
