Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic was right at the center of Slovenia’s 104-78 thrashing of New Zealand on Thursday. It was a pivotal blowout win for Slovenia as they officially booked their spot for the upcoming Olympic Games.
This was, however, no walk in the park for Doncic and Co., and the Mavs guard’s hilarious post-game reaction is a testament to the same.

Doncic, who erupted for 36 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists in the victory, admitted to being exhausted after the win. So much so, that the five-time All-Star was unable to check himself in his live post-game interview:
“Yes I f**ked up, oops, sorry I’m tired, I’m (angry) cause I didn’t score a 3,” Doncic said, as translated by m⁷⁷ on X, formerly Twitter.
Doncic knows that he can’t blurt out that type of language on live TV — regardless of the dialect used. The Mavs star quickly apologized for his misstep, but the damage had been done at that point.
Either way, Slovenia will now be heading to Paris for the upcoming Summer Olympics after this qualifying win. They finished the group tied with Croatia and New Zealand, but their superior point differential allows them to move on to the next round along with Croatia.
