There’s no denying how much of an impact All-Star guard Luka Doncic has done for the Dallas Mavericks during his time playing for the team. Turns out, NBA legends Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce are thinking the same way too and even dropped some massive praise on him.
Doncic made an immediate impact in the NBA when he entered the league in 2018, quickly establishing himself as the cornerstone of the Mavericks. With his remarkable skills and basketball intelligence, the Slovenian sensation became the team’s standout player, consistently delivering impressive performances and leading the Mavericks to playoff contention.

After a disappointing season last year, the dynamic duo of Kyrie Irving and Doncic has orchestrated a remarkable comeback, propelling the Mavericks back to prominence. The franchise, which celebrated its sole championship victory in 2011, now stands on the cusp of returning to glory under their leadership.
Currently, the Mavericks and Doncic face a challenging situation with a 0-3 deficit against Jayson Tatum’s Boston Celtics. Despite the odds stacked against the Slovenian All-Star, there remains a glimmer of hope for the team to extend the series and potentially secure a championship triumph.

Over the course of 70 games during the regular season this year, Doncic posted averages of 33.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, 9.8 assists, and 1.4 steals per contest. He’s also shooting 48 percent from the field, 38 percent from beyond the arc, and 78 percent from the free throw line.

It remains to be seen whether Doncic can pull the impossible off by leading the Mavericks out of their 0-3 hole to win the championship or not. In any case, a lot of eyes will be on the Dallas All-Star as he goes up against Boston for the remainder of the NBA Finals this year.
