Nico Harrison isn’t exactly the most popular person right now in Dallas. The Dallas Mavericks general manager has earned the ire of countless Mavs fans after the team decided to part ways with superstar Luka Doncic via a trade that sent the 25-year-old Slovenian to the Los Angeles Lakers early last February.
Quentin Grimes’ eruption leads to clowning of Dallas Mavericks GM

On Sunday, Harrison catches some more heat and ridicule from fans after the Golden State Warriors got upset by the Philadelphia 76ers.
But for what reason?
Well, the 76ers snapped their nine-game losing skid and defeated the Warriors at home via a 126-119 score, thanks in large part to the explosion of former Mavericks shooting guard Quentin Grimes. The ex-Houston Cougars star went off for 44 points on 18-for-24 shooting from the field. He also hit six 3-pointers and added six rebounds, three steals, an assist and a block in 37 minutes.
“A new career-high 44 points for @qdotgrimes on 18/24 shooting in @sixers home W!” the NBA posted on Instagram following the 76ers’ victory.
Many fans, however, reacted to that post by clowning Harrison.
“Nico Harrison gotta hire extra security now 😂”
“Well done nico“
“Nico punching air rn“
“Swiss cheese nico“
“Nico is the new Santa Claus“
“Nico Harrison causes me more and more depression every day“
“@nicoharrison_24 you are even more cooked“
It will take time before people forget what the Mavs did concerning the end of Doncic’s Dallas stint, so expect fans to keep on making fun of Harrison whenever an opportunity presents itself.
