Dan Hurley, head coach of the Connecticut Huskies, is well-known for his on-court antics and meltdowns, and talk-show host, Dan Patrick, had plenty to say on the matter after the team exited the March Madness tournament. The UConn Huskies took on the Florida Gators for the second round of the NCAA tournament on Sunday and lost the game with a close score.
In reaction to the defeat, Hurley could be seen yelling at game-officials right after the loss. In the press conference after the game, Hurley was teary-eyed throughout, mourning his team’s defeat against Florida.
“Do you want somebody who is that passionate, who cares, that is a pest, annoying -all of those things- but great at what he (does)? I mean, he cares. You may not like the antics on the floor, and at times I feel embarrassed for him – he can’t change.” Dan Patrick said about Coach Dan Hurley on ‘The Dan Patrick Show’.

Dan Hurley’s UConn Huskies Officially Out Of March Madness
Dan Hurley is surely still heartbroken after his team, the Connecticut Huskies, was kicked out of the March Madness tournament after losing to the Florida Gators on Sunday. Connecticut took on Florida for the second round in the NCAA tournament and lost the game with a very close score of 77-75.
