Sacramento Kings forward DeMar DeRozan and Houston Rockets wingman Dillon Brooks resumed their beef during their game on Saturday in Houston. A day later, a recorded clip of their altercation leaked on social media, transcribing the alleged words exchanged between the two.
DeRozan appeared to have an issue with Brooks’ physicality, asking for a foul call after a defensive play by the Rockets wingman caused him to dribble the ball to his foot and out of bounds. Brooks, however, would have none of it, as he approached DeRozan for a face-to-face squabble before shoving him.

Roughly a year ago, DeMar DeRozan and Dillon Brooks were ejected for a physical altercation during the Rockets’ 127-117 home victory over DeRozan’s then-Chicago Bulls. The six-time All-Star then called Brooks out for escalating their conflict that night, expressing his utter contempt for his violent tendencies.

While they were not ejected this time around, both players were just charged with technical fouls. The fans were fortunate to see the two be allowed to continue the game.
DeMar DeRozan gains upper hand over Dillon Brooks after heated clash
DeMar DeRozan and Dillon Brooks both had a rough shooting game on Saturday night. DeRozan finished the game with a team-best 21 points but only shot 7-for-18 (38.9%) from the field, while Brooks gathered 12 points on 4-for-13 shooting (30.8%)

In the end, DeRozan and company triumphed over the Rockets, 113-103. He and co-star Zach Lavine combined for 41 points to make up for the loss of center Domantas Sabonis, who exited the game early due to an aggravated hamstring.

The game marked the final time the Kings (31-28) and the Rockets (37-23) clashed this season, with Sacramento going 3-0 against Houston. Unless they meet in the playoffs, Brooks will have to wait until next season to run it back with DeRozan.
