After an exhaustive Olympic run, Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic has completely moved on from the grand games. Just a day after Team Serbia won the bronze medal, Joker was seen watching his favorite sport, horse racing, back in his hometown, Sombor.

The regional network Arena Sports TV posted a short video on its account of X showing Jokic preparing to watch a horse race. The caption is in Croatian, along with a clown emoji.

“Nikola Jokić je stigao u Sombor gde će pratiti Kasački derbi!”

Since Jokic’s duties as the top man in both Team Serbia and the Denver Nuggets, he has all the time to live his personal life. His love for horse racing isn’t new; in fact, it’s his personal favorite that makes him distinct from the other current NBA stars.

After the men’s basketball team’s concluding events at the Olympics, Jokic immediately rushed to leave Paris to return to Serbia.

When he was previously interviewed, the Joker said that he needed to go as soon as possible since he had to watch a trotting derby on Sunday.

Nikola Jokic led all of Team Serbia’s games. In their semifinal loss against Team USA, the six-time NBA All-Star had a double-double of 17 points and 11 assists in 37 minutes.

Meanwhile, he got a triple-double of 19 points, 12 assists, and 11 assists in the bronze medal match against Germany.

Despite his competitive nature, Jokic remained respectful after the game against Germany. After the game, he shook hands with the opponents’ players and coaches, and Serbia won 93-83.

Thanks to the significant aid of his Serbian teammates, the 2023 NBA champion has taken his second medal in his Olympic career.

Jokic is also known for his often introverted- nature. He was supposed to be interviewed by the reporters after the bronze medal match, but he declined.

His teammate, Bogdan Bogdanovic, said that the Denver Nuggets’ center rarely talks to everyone and only often talks to him all the time.

Two of the Denver Nuggets’ stars are at the Paris Olympics.

Everyone knows Nikola Jokic is playing for Team Serbia and got a bronze medal. Another Denver Nuggets star, Jamal Murray, is also playing, but for Team Canada, in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Unfortunately for Murray, his team exited early in the games. They were knocked out in the quarterfinals after losing to Team France, 73-69.

Both Jokic and Murray are still in the Denver Nuggets‘ lineup for the upcoming NBA season.
