Russell Westbrook moved up to 20th in the NBA all-time scoring list during the Denver Nuggets’ 129-119 loss against the Chicago Bulls yesterday.

The one-time league MVP entered the game trailing Kevin Garnett only by two points. Westbrook leapfrogged the Minnesota Timberwolves icon by hitting a logo three with less than three minutes left in the first period.
Westbrook finished the game with 14 points, five rebounds, and 10 assists on 5-for-14 shooting from the field in 26 minutes off the bench. As of this writing, the one-time league MVP has 26,083 career points.

John Havlicek and Paul Pierce, who have 26,395 and 26,397 career points, are the next players ahead of Westbrook. The Denver Nuggets have nine games left in the 2024-25 regular season.
Denver Nuggets continue to struggle without Nikola Jokic
