The Detroit Pistons get a late thriller against the Portland Trail Blazers, 118-115, to get to.500 on the season at 18-18. The last time Pistons were .500 or better at five+ games into the season was way back in the 2018/19 seasons.
The team has now emerged victorious in its last four straight games. During the last eight games, they’ve won seven out of them.
Hardway’s performance against Portland
Tim Hardaway Jr. had 26 points on 10/15 FG and shot 6/9 from beyond the arc. He had some huge shots in the 4th quarter.
He had the fourth most points in a game without zero rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. Tim scored a season high 26 points.
Tim’s scoring achievement
This was his second 20-point game this season. He’s the 24th player in NBA history to score 26 points without a rebound or an assist.
Hardaway has started every game he has played this season. He has been a great veteran presence.
