The Detroit Pistons defeat Charlotte Hornets 98-94. Pistons missed four of their last six free throw attempts but held on for the win. They improve to 16-18 and have won five of their last six.
The Pistons held the Charlotte Hornets to 29 points in the second half tonight. That is the fewest points scored in a second half by any NBA team this season.
Tobias performance against Charlotte
Pistons power forward Tobias Harris had 24 points, 10 rebounds and three steals. He came up big down the stretch.
This is his first game leading the Pistons in scoring this season. This was his most impactful game of the season in a Pistons win.
Tobias contributions in Detroit
Over his last two games, Tobias Harris has averaged 20.5 PPG, nine rebounds, 1.5 APG, 1.5 SPG, and one block. Harris looks to be the main recipient of the Ivey injury.
He is still a good starting-caliber role player and a valuable addition to this young Pistons squad. Pistons don’t win that game without him, and that corner three was pure like it used to be.
