In an interview, Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker was asked about the difference he felt facing the Mavs without their superstar Luke Doncic. More than anything, Booker got honest with the change in the “vibes” of the team.
“You can feel it when we land,” Booker said. “The vibes are low right now, but hopefully they can look back and once everybody gets healthy, on top of next season, still root on their team and root on their city.”

Mavs head coach Jason Kidd also recently became honest with how he felt about the Mavs “dropping bodies” one-by-one, in light of the recent ACL injury that their star player Kyrie Irving.
“The injuries that we’ve had this season, guys are trying to hold it together,” Kidd said to reporters. “You get other bodies back and it just seems that every time we’re close to getting someone back, someone goes down.
“We’re running out of bodies here, but guys keep fighting.”

Devin Booker Leads Suns in Win Over Undermanned Mavs
The Phoenix Suns secured a 125-116 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in a recent game, with Devin Booker playing a pivotal role. Booker scored 24 points, dished out six assists, and grabbed three rebounds, showcasing his all-around game.
Booker was particularly effective in the first half, where he hit a jumper that sparked a 19-2 run for the Suns, turning a 22-18 deficit into a 37-34 lead. Despite facing a depleted Dallas team, Booker remained focused and delivered a consistent performance.

In the second half, Booker continued to make an impact, contributing to the Suns’ offensive efforts and helping them maintain their lead. His scoring and playmaking abilities were crucial in keeping the Mavericks at bay, especially during key moments when Dallas attempted to mount a comeback.
Booker’s performance was complemented by strong contributions from Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, who added 21 and 19 points, respectively.

So far this season, Devin Booker is averaging 26.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game. His shooting percentages are also noteworthy, with a field goal percentage of 45.7% and a three-point shooting percentage of 34.5%.
