Dick Cheney should be convicted as a war criminal. At least, this is what one former NBA player thinks of the former vice president.
In one of the recent episodes of “The Stephen A. Smith” show, former NBA player Royce White gave his honest opinion of former vice president Dick Cheney.
“The mainstream media, for so long, has created a WWE politics narrative where you have Republicans and Democrats, and they hate each other. They fight mostly the uni party of Republicans and Democrats who protect the post-World War II democratic liberal order, or what they call the international rules-based order, working together behind the scenes to create legislation that destroys the value of American citizenship. I stand against that uni party.”
“Donald Trump has changed this,” he added. “He took it over. He punched him in the gut, and now they have to eat crow and bend the knee and I kind of enjoy watching it because they all try to take him out and this was Christy, and Romney, and Cheney.”
With these things said, White had one question for the supporters of the Democratic Party.
“I mean, how did the Democrats ever side with Dick Cheney? The guy should be a convicted war criminal, and he’s definitely a war monger. Iraq War.”
Dick Cheney, an American politician and businessman, held the position of the 46th Vice President of the United States during George W. Bush’s presidency, serving from 2001 to 2009.

Dick Cheney is considered a highly influential U.S. Vice President, largely for his impact on foreign and defense policies, notably concerning the Iraq War. His career prior to the vice presidency included significant roles such as White House Chief of Staff for President Gerald Ford, U.S. Representative for Wyoming, and Secretary of Defense under President George H.W. Bush, in which capacity he directed military actions during the Gulf War.
Why is Dick Cheney Known for The Iraq War?
As a staunch advocate for the invasion, Dick Cheney was a driving force within the Bush administration, pushing for military action against Iraq based on the assertion that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). He frequently cited intelligence reports to bolster this claim, presenting it as a critical justification for preemptive action to protect global security.

Cheney not only made the initial decision to invade Iraq but also significantly shaped the narrative of the conflict. He repeatedly asserted that removing Saddam Hussein was crucial for fighting terrorism and stabilizing the Middle East.

Dick Cheney’s background in the defense industry, particularly his former position as CEO of Halliburton, has prompted some to suggest that his strong support for military intervention may have been driven by personal or financial gain.
