US President Donald Trump and his stance on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is what, among other things, made broadcaster and journalist Megyn Kelly on her ultimate choice to support Trump during the last election.
In her appearance on “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” Megyn Kelly talked about her take on the issue of DEI, and how the fact that US President Donald Trump mirrors this stance.
“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with diversity, and if I, you know, were remaking America, I would make sure we had it in all forms and all places,” Kely said. “I’d make sure we have lots of different people with lots of different backgrounds and lots of different ideological views running different corporations.”
“But that’s not really what DEI is,” she added. “DEI is mostly focused on the E, the equity, which is just a joke. Equity means you have the right to end up in the same place, irrespective of how much effort goes into it. That is not an American value. That is not something I value or share in at all.”
“That’s equity, and it’s immoral. So I’m completely opposed to it.”
DEI initiatives have faced growing criticism in the U.S., particularly from those who argue that they prioritize identity-based representation over merit and qualifications. Critics also argue that DEI programs can create reverse discrimination, where individuals from historically dominant groups feel excluded or disadvantaged due to diversity quotas.

Donald Trump Goes Through First 100 Days of “America First” Administration
Donald Trump‘s first 100 days of his second term have been marked by bold and controversial actions that have disrupted the global order. His administration has launched a sweeping tariff war, slashed foreign aid, and taken an unconventional approach to international relations, including warming ties with Russia and criticizing NATO allies.

Trump’s rhetoric about annexing Greenland and retaking the Panama Canal has drawn sharp criticism, with some allies questioning the reliability of the United States as a partner. Meanwhile, his tariff policies have roiled financial markets and raised concerns about a potential global economic slowdown. Despite these challenges, the White House defends Trump’s actions as decisive measures to address pressing issues, such as the war in Ukraine and trade imbalances with China.
