US President Donald Trump and his recent tariffs were slammed by Dallas Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban, who also called out Elon Musk in his recent social media post
In a post on X, Mark Cuban talked about the recent tariffs from President Donald Trump and included tech billionaire Elon Musk as well.
Hey [Elon Musk],” Cuban said. “You may be the greatest manufacturing builder of all time. Did you need protective tariffs in order to manufacture in the USA? Or were private capital, your investment, and local and federal government incentives the difference?”
He added, “BTW, what I respect most about you is that you go all in with your own money for your startups.”
Donald Trump’s recent announcement of sweeping tariffs, branded as “reciprocal tariffs,” has sparked significant global controversy. These tariffs, ranging from a baseline of 10% to as high as 50% for certain nations, target imports from nearly all U.S. trading partners.

Elon Musk, despite his close ties to the Trump administration, has expressed concerns about the tariffs’ impact on Tesla. While Tesla benefits from its U.S.-based production, Musk has noted that the tariffs will increase costs for imported parts, which could affect vehicle prices.
Could Donald Trump Run for a Third Presidency?
US President Donald Trump has sparked intense debate with his recent comments about potentially seeking a third term in office. In an interview with NBC News, Trump stated that he was “not joking” about the idea, despite the constitutional prohibition under the 22nd Amendment.
“A lot of people want me to do it,” Trump said. “But, I mean, I basically tell them we have a long way to go, you know, it’s very early in the administration.”
“I’m not joking,” Trump said, when asked to clarify. “But I’m not — it is far too early to think about it.”
“There are methods which you could do it,” he said, talking about concerns of the idea being unconstitutional.

The 22nd Amendment, ratified in 1951, clearly states that no individual can be elected to the presidency more than twice. Trump, who has already served two non-consecutive terms, would face significant legal and logistical hurdles to pursue a third term.
Constitutional experts have pointed out that amending the 22nd Amendment would require an extraordinary level of support from Congress and state legislatures.

Despite these challenges, President Donald Trump has suggested that his popularity among Americans could pave the way for such a move.
