Draymond Green has become yet another fan of LiAngelo Ball’s song ‘Tweaker’. The song seems to be taking the entire sports world by storm, not just the NBA, and was even recently played in the Detroit Lions locker room. Green, who hosts a podcast ‘The Draymond Green Show’, listened to the song on the most recent episode and shared his opinion with co-host Baron Davis.
Green is fresh off a game against the Miami Heat, where he and the Golden State Warriors took a nasty defeat with a final score of 114-98. In that game, Steph Curry led the Warriors on the scoreboard with 31 points in total, with seven rebounds, while Trayce Jackson-Davis scored 19 points. Draymond Green himself put up seven points against the Heat, with ten rebounds and ten helpers each, leading the team in both these areas.
“Hey, that’s knocking, I ain’t even gon’ lie. Alright, Gelo!” Green said on ‘The Draymond Green Show’.

Green was quite interested in what made the song actually go viral. He asked if it was because people wanted to poke fun at LiAngelo Ball’s attempt at a rap career, after failing at professional basketball, or if people actually liked it. To this, Davis mentioned that the song was actually great and that it brought back a ‘2000s vibe’ which might be the reason for its popularity.
Lisa Leslie Reaffirms NBA’s Support Of The WNBA In Discussion With Draymond Green And LeBron James
Former WNBA player, Lisa Leslie, recently spoke about NBA players supporting the WNBA in a sit-down with Draymond Green and LeBron James. It is true that numerous NBA players, including Green and James, have strongly supported the women’s league. In fact, just like Green reiterated, NBA players have been supporting WNBA players way more than the WNBA itself.
Leslie seemed to understand and support this and mentioned that she discussed the same with the WNBA itself and that they need to do more to uplift their own players. The WNBA certainly needs plenty of support from other sports organizations and top athletes.
At the same time, it is doing way better than the NBA in terms of ratings and viewership, which has dipped for the men’s league in the past decade. As per recent reports, this is because of Caitlin Clark’s effect. After Caitlin Clark started to play for the WNBA, the ratings for the league have gone up multiple times, and this is only going to increase in her second season.
