Draymond Green’s wife, Hazel Renee, is his biggest cheerleader, and she recently posted a tribute to her after he won the Defensive Player of the Month award in the Western Conference. This was for March, when Green’s defense was on point throughout.
Hazel Renee posted a graphic of Green’s accomplishment on her Instagram, along with a proud caption. Renee and Green have been married since 2022 and knew each other as friends since their college days at Michigan State University. Renee has often shown her husband love on her social media, especially for his performances with the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.
“LOCKIN DOWN WHOEVER!! Sooo Sooo Proud Of All Of Your HARDWORK. TOP TIER MY LOVE @money23green” Hazel Renee captioned her Instagram post about her husband, Draymond Green, winning the Western Conference Defensive Player of the Month award for March.
Draymond Green has created a name for himself as one of the best defensive players in the league throughout his career. Back in 2017, Green won the DPOY award, and from his current performances, it looks like he will bag another DPOY award soon.
Draymond Green has played for the Golden State Warriors throughout his entire NBA career, after being selected as the 35th overall pick in the second round of the 2012 draft. Before that, Green played college basketball for the Michigan State Spartans from 2008 to 2012. In the ongoing NBA season, Green is managing 9.2 points per game as an average, grabbing 6.2 rebounds and assisting 5.7 times in every matchup.

Draymond Green And Warriors To Play Against Denver Nuggets Next
Meanwhile, Draymond Green and the rest of the Warriors will be locking horns with the Denver Nuggets next to continue the NBA regular season. The Golden State Warriors are currently ranked fifth in the Western Conference after winning 45 games and losing 31 so far.

In their previous matchup, Golden State played against the Los Angeles Lakers and won the game with an impressive 123-116. Against the Lakers, Golden State’s Steph Curry chalked up 37 points, grabbing three rebounds and assisting six times, while Brandin Podziemski added another 28 points, with eight boards and six helpers. Green grabbed an astounding 11 rebounds in that game, proving that he is one of the best in terms of defense once again.

After taking on the Denver Nuggets, the Golden State Warriors will be paired with the Houston Rockets. In their previous meeting with the Nuggets, the Warriors lost the game, 114-105, and will try to redeem themselves here.
