Duke basketball star Cooper Flagg continues to add to his resume for his upcoming and inevitable entry into the pros. On Wednesday, the freshman put on a show again for the Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham during a game against the lowly California Golden Bears.
Flagg led the No. 3-ranked Duke with 27 points on 8-for-14 shooting from the field. One of his buckets was one for the highlight reel, as he followed a great play on defense with a sensational reverse throwdown in transition.

Duke basketball’s Cooper Flagg leaves fans hyped after huge dunk vs. California

That dunk went viral, with many fans saying that the dunk was simply one of the reasons why he’s the “future.”
“Future top 5 player in the nba,” commented a fan.
“The future of the league 🔥,” said another.
“Future Goat,” posted a social media user.
“Future #1 pick,” one said.
From a different fan: “Future NBA MVP”
Another shared: “Future NBA Superstar”
The 78-57 win over California (NET No. 126) was a nice pick-me-up win for Duke basketball after it lost to the Clemson Tigers on the road last Saturday. The victory also extended Duke’s win streak at home to 14 games. Up next for the Blue Devils is a matchup versus the Stanford Cardinal, still in Durham, on Saturday.
