The collegiate basketball transfer portal is about to end in a couple of days, but that doesn’t mean any transfer drama is over. The Duke Blue Devils are expected to make a splash in the transfer market despite the impressive crop of freshmen coming through the doors in the fall.
Jon Scheyer is expected to make a move for talented players after the 2025 NBA Draft is set to take two of their top players away. While Cooper Flagg is still on the fence about leaving the Blue Devils, Kon Knueppel is expected to be a high draft pick in June.

The Blue Devils are a blue-chip program, so their pull among some of the best players in the transfer portal is more than expected. While they aren’t actively pursuing anyone, the latest name linked to the program is a surprising name with an established NBA pedigree.
Andrej Stojakovic is linked with a move to the Duke Blue Devils

Andrej Stojakovic had a terrific season for the California Golden Bears, and few expected him to leave after starting all but one of the 29 games he played this season. Given such a season, it would have been reasonable to expect the incoming junior to stay for another year and build his case for the NBA.
However, behind-the-scenes events compelled the Carmichael, CA native to look for another team. Basketball columnist Dick Weiss reported that Stojakoic, the son for former Sacramento Kings sharpshooter Peja, is looking for a new team to call home.
If Schuyer and Duke bag Stojakovic in the transfer portal, the team will have an outstanding offensive powerhouse that can take over for Knueppel and/or Flagg if he decides to go through with the draft. Stojakovic saw a massive boost in his production in his sophomore year, averaging 17.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists on 43% shooting and 32% from deep.

Auburn and Illinois are the other programs reportedly linked to bagging Stojakovic. While the future is far from secure, it will be intriguing for Duke Blue Devils fans to see how he would perform in their colors.
