After more than two decades, Dwight Howard seemed to have gotten tired of exchanging words with Shaquille O’Neal and pleaded to his long-time rival to hang everything about their feud.
In his post on X, Dwight Howard called on to Shaq and asked if they could “hash this out.” He also extended a hand of invitation to Shaq for a sit-down on his podcast.
“By the way, I don’t want people [to] get entertained by two black [men] going back and forth over petty stuff,” Howard said in his post. “I don’t want to bicker I just want to settle this like the two successful Hall of Fame black men [that] we are! You [are] the most dominant center of all time! Come on to the podcast and let’s hash this out.”
Speaking of podcasts, Shaq also fired shots about Howard having a podcast, and called him “podcast boy.”
“Your legacy is your new podcast,” Shaq said. “That’s how you will be remembered and you need views. “Damn, I taught you well, great job Hall of Fame podcaster. But still don’t care.”

“You need the sit-down, you need my validation, I don’t need yours. How will you be remembered? Think about that, podcast boy.”
“The fact [that] you think I care about [you] is funny, but I won’t ever bring your name up again sensitive big man, a jokester [who] can’t take a joke,” Shaq said in a separate post. “Won’t ever say your name again ever again. Have a great day and now u have been deleted. Have a great day.

Dwight Howard on Beef with Shaq: “Do We Really Need to Squabble?”
In an appearance at “The GAUDs Show,” Dwight Howard touched on his rivalry and beef with Shaquille O’Neal that has spanned over two decades. After such a long time, Howard has stopped and wondered: “dow we really need to?”
“At this point, I’m like, ‘Do we need to throw hands? What are we doing?’, Dwight said. “Because I have not ever — for me, the only thing I’ve done with Shaq is mimic his voice. But what else can I mimic him about? He’s Shaquille O’Neal, he’s the most dominant center ever. But again, he keeps saying stuff about me. So it’s like, ‘Hey bro, do we really need to go ahead and squabble?’”
Dwight Howard has his own podcast, called “Above the Rim With DH 12.”
