Analyst and sports broadcaster Stephen A. Smith expressed his honest opinion on Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade downplaying comparisons of him to Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan.
For Stephen A. Smith, Wade has been downplaying himself and his contributions to basketball. In one of the recent editions of “First Take,” Stephen A. Smith urged Wade to remember his contributions to the sport and his legacy to the NBA.
“I’m going to say this on national television, D-Wade, my brother: I’m getting sick and tired of you diminishing who the hell you are,” Smith said. “You ain’t no 25th floor. You the 30th floor.”
“That’s a three-time champion there we’re talking about with Dwyane Wade. That’s a guy that recruited LeBron James. That’s a guy that sacrificed a lot of his game to facilitate LeBron James being who he is. … Dwyane Wade, arguably the third greatest off guard in the history of basketball behind M.J. And Kobe.”

Dwyane Wade has often been compared to Michael Jordan due to his scoring ability, athleticism, and dominance during his prime years. Wade himself has acknowledged these comparisons but has consistently downplayed them, emphasizing his respect for Jordan’s legacy as the greatest of all time.
In interviews, Wade has stated that while he admired Jordan and modeled parts of his game after him, he never sought to surpass him or claim the title of basketball’s “GOAT.”

Wade’s humility in addressing these comparisons has earned him praise from fans and analysts alike. He has highlighted the unique aspects of his own career, such as his leadership during the Miami Heat’s championship runs and his ability to adapt his game alongside stars like LeBron James and Chris Bosh.
Stephen A. Smith Calls Out President Trump’s Third Presidency Plan
In one of the recent episodes of “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” the analyst got honest about President Donald Trump’s expressed intent to run for President for the third time.
“Now let me get to what Trump said there,” Smith said. “What he said was appalling. he’d entertained running for a third term, he’s not ruling it out.”
“It’s inexcusable stuff,” he added. “And the reason why it’s inexcusable is because as the 22nd amendment stipulates the presidency is something that you can only have for two terms, that’s it.”
The 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1951, limits a president to two elected terms in office.
