The Milwaukee Bucks have maintained their undefeated record in the Emirates NBA Cup with their recent 114-109 victory over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday. Following their win, they’ve helped assistant coach Darvin Ham maintain his perfect record in the In-Season Tournament since it started during the 2023-24 NBA season.
Ham was the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers last season and went undefeated. The team went to the championship round and won the first NBA Cup against the Indiana Pacers.
This season, he’s helped the Bucks have a 4-0 record in the Group Stage and advanced to the semifinal round.

They have defeated Eastern Conference clubs in the NBA Cup’s opening round. The Bucks’ first win in the tournament was against the Toronto Raptors on Nov. 12. They had a 99-85 victory, with Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 23-point and seven-assist performance.
Their second victory came against last year’s finalist, the Pacers. Milwaukee had a 129-117 win over Indiana, thanks to Antetokounmpo’s 37 points and Damian Lillard’s 24 points and 13 assists. Their third win was a close 106-103 win over the Miami Heat. In their game against the Heat, they didn’t have their star forward, but Lillard’s 37 points were enough.
Their final win during the Group Stage was against the Detroit Pistons and the Greek Freak carried the team with his 28 points. They captured another win on Tuesday for the quarter-final against the Magic. Antetokounmpo had 37 points and four blocks to secure their victory.
Following their sluggish start to the season, having an undefeated record in the NBA Cup is an encouraging sight.

Despite having a spotless NBA Cup record, the Lakers fired Ham over the summer and replaced him with JJ Redick. Even with that fans couldn’t believe his perfect record.
