Former basketball player, Gilbert Arenas’ girlfriend Melli Monaco is apparently a huge hip-hop fan and recently dropped her opinions on the reality TV show ‘Rhythm + Flow’. The show has covered two seasons and has different contestants dance-battling it out to win $250,000. Monaco took to Instagram to accuse the show of cheating and rigging the competition unfairly.
In her Instagram stories, Monaco mentioned that while there are several talented artists in the group, the judges seem to be favoring one particular artist who is not as talented as others. According to the influencer, the person in reference has a sad backstory, but this is of course not enough to win such a competition.
“What the f*** is going on, they (“Rhythm + Flow”) have a bunch of great artists and I’m not here to talk s**t, even if I am going to. If you haven’t watched it, it’s a spoiler alert.”
“They have that one guy that, I think, the music never hit,” Monaco said. “The judges kept on saying he’s great and then he had a good story for TV. … And the motherf***er won,”
“I like the show but this is rigged. … It has to be rigged. … He (winner) wasn’t on the level of 14 people who lost to him,” Monaco said. “Why? Is he a signed artist by somebody, or because of his sad story. A bunch of them have sad stories. … I know he needed the $250,000, that’s for sure. But to me, it’s so disrespectful to other artists. … He just wasn’t on the level.” Melli Monaco said on her Instagram stories.

Meanwhile, Gilbert Arenas would have been surely surprised by Melli Monaco’s Christmas present. Monaco documented her ‘present’ to Arenas, for which she wore a Santa-themed lingerie ensemble, complete with the hat and the bag of toys.

Ballers breed more ballers, and this was proven again when Bryce James, LeBron James’ son, announced his commitment to the Arizona Wildcats college basketball team recently. While this move came as a sweet surprise to many fans of the James’ family, several hoped that Gilbert Arenas’ son, Alijah Arenas, would follow the same move.
However, Alijah Arenas is yet to announce his college basketball team. Still, the Arizona Wildcats are hoping that he joins them along with James, along with other teams like UCLA, UTEP and even Washington State.
