Longtime NBA analyst Skip Bayless is tired of the disrespect on the Oklahoma City Thunder. On Monday, Bayless talked about the Thunder on his program, “The Skip Bayless Show,” and called out Draymond Green for his disregard for the top team in the Western Conference.
The Thunder have remained at the top of the West with a 59-12 record. With how they’ve performed all year, many think they have a real shot at winning the Larry O’Brien trophy. However, not everyone believes in what they can do. That includes Green, who thinks the team has more to prove, especially in the postseason.

Fortunately for Oklahoma City, Bayless defended them. He spoke highly of what the top team in the NBA can do and called out Green.
“Would you believe, Draymond Green, that the Oklahoma City Thunder are having the greatest season in NBA history?” Bayless started. “I am dropping truth bombs all over Green’s disrespect.
“He’s right about one thing. None of this will matter unless the Thunder back it all up in the postseason, close the deal… Maybe they’ll have to ‘deal’ with the Warriors in the playoffs. Maybe they’ll have to deal with the Warriors in the first round… Maybe if that happens, Draymond’s teammates will be telling him, in private, ‘Why’d you have to say that about the Thunder?’

According to Bayless, things might alter if the two teams face off in the playoffs. He went so far as to imply that Green would be “scared to death” if the time came.
What did Draymond Green say about the Thunder?

Early in the season, Draymond Green talked about the Thunder. However, what he said about the team was more about him being critical with how the players act during postgame interviews. It seemed that Green has issues with how OKC’s players are always gathered together having fun during their courtside talks with the media.
“The one thing I see with the OKC team that is a little alarming for me is like their postgames,” Green said (34:40). “Like, seven guys in the interview. There’s a certain seriousness that it takes to win in this league, and there’s a certain fear you have to instill in teams in order to win.”
According to Green, he doesn’t think the Thunder are instilling fear on opposing teams with their actions. The four-time champion said that he understands why the young team’s actions but said that they should be aware that there is a place and time for it.
