The Golden State Warriors announced that Draymond Green became the franchise’s all-time leader in playoff games played following last night’s Game 2 against the Houston Rockets.

Green played his 159th career playoff game, all with the Golden State Warriors. He has been in the postseason for 10 of his 13 seasons in the NBA and is a key cog of four championship teams in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022.
Unfortunately for Green, the Golden State Warriors suffered a 109-94 loss last night, knotting the first-round series to one game apiece. However, they’ll play Games 3 and 4 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

In Game 2, Green notched eight points, five rebounds, one assist, three steals, and one block on 2-for-6 shooting from the field but also had five turnovers in 31 minutes.
Golden State Warriors News: Steve Kerr backs Draymond Green boos from Houston Rockets crowd
Houston Rockets fans showered Draymond Green with boos and and cuss words during Game 2 of their first-round best-of-seven series. While Steve Kerr understands where they’re coming from, the Golden State Warriors head coach urged them to tone it down.

“He’s an instigator, he’s always gonna be in the mix and because of his career… He’s gonna be a lightning rod. I would prefer if fans can use a little more discretion and remember the guy has kids. I just think F U is a little much,” Kerr told reporters during the postgame press conference.
Green and the Golden State Warriors must regroup ahead of Game 3, especially since Jimmy Butler is dealing with a pelvis contusion after a nasty tumble yesterday.
