The Golden State Warriors need all the help they can get if they’re going to keep Stephen Curry and win another championship in his reign as the Warriors’ top dog.
The team failed to make it to the playoffs, which forced the team’s hand to make somewhat wholesale changes. Klay Thompson is out to the Mavs while Buddy Hield took his spot. Given the high aspirations the Dubs have, you can count on the team to try and pull off more trades that would improve the overall roster.

One of the players who hopes to have a shot at playing for the storied franchise is Kevin Knox. The forward is holding onto an NBA career after falling to make it stick with the New York Knicks. However, he also knows that nothing is guaranteed for him with how his career has panned out.
He joined the Warriors’ Summer League team to get another NBA contract, and he put up a solid display that may bag him what he wanted.
Kevin Knox shines for the Golden State Warriors during the 2024 California Classic

The 2024 California Classic is the perfect avenue for rookies, standout G League players, and fringe NBA benchwarmers to show off and convince an NBA team to sign a contract with them.
Knox, who last played for the Detroit Pistons last season, used the Summer League as a platform to show NBA teams that he can still play at the highest level of professional basketball.
His performance for the Golden State Warriors against the Sacramento Kings allowed him to show off his value to the Dubs and the rest of the league:
Kevin Knox II scores 21 to power the @warriors to a 3-0 finish in the California Classic!

Knox is a serviceable player should the Golden State Warriors decide to pick him up. In the 31 games Knox played for the Pistons last season, he averaged 7.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.7 assists a game while shooting 46.2% on the floor and 33.0% from distance.

With the most recent influx of players, it might be difficult for the ninth pick of the 2018 Draft to stay in the league. However, he made his case in the final game of the California Classic and should be able to attract at least one offer.
