Everything should be on the table for the Golden State Warriors after failing to qualify for the playoffs this season and because their core is not getting any younger.

The Golden State Warriors have to make a big swing if they plan to be back in playoff contention for next season, and Josh Cornelissen from Fan Sided has an idea how to make it happen, which will see them let go of one of the team’s defensive pillars.
In his three-team trade proposal, the Golden State Warriors will acquire Mikal Bridges. The Detroit Pistons, meanwhile, get their veteran leader in Draymond Green and the Brooklyn Nets receive Isaiah Stewart, Jaden Ivey, two first-rounders, and one second-rounder.

Losing either Klay Thompson (who will be a free agent) or Draymond Green will be painful for die-hard Golden State Warriors fans, but they’ve had a great run.
Golden State Warriors getting Mikal Bridges takes them to another level
Despite potentially losing Draymond Green, the Golden State Warriors won’t miss a beat on the defensive end if they successfully pull off this trade because Mikal Bridges is one of the league’s premier two-way players.
At the same time, the Golden State Warriors will no longer worry about Draymond Green missing games due to suspension because of his antics, and they’ll get a massive boost on the offensive end, too.

They say availability is the best ability, and Mikal Bridges exemplifies such quality since he rarely misses games. In this 2023-24 campaign, the 27-year-old forward played and started all 82 games, averaging 19.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game while shooting 37.2 percent from three-point range.
