It is safe to say that Golden State Warriors veteran point guard Chris Paul isn’t going to be playing in the NBA for several more years. At 39 years old and with nearly 20 years of experience seeing action in the greatest basketball league in the world, Paul is in the twilight years of his pro career, which is also why it’s just high time for him to start planning for a career once his playing days are over.
Golden State Warriors Star Point Guard Chris Paul to Showcase Broadcast Talents in the 2024 NBA Playoffs
Paul might have already dropped a big hint on what he’s going to do once he hangs up his sneakers, with ESPN recently announcing that Paul will be part of the ESPN’s team on NBA Countdown during the upcoming 2024 Eastern Conference Finals.
“12x #NBA All-Star @CP3 will serve as a guest analyst on NBA Countdown during the 2024 Eastern Conference Finals 🏀,” the ESPN’s public relations team announced on Tuesday.
If he does indeed transition into a broadcasting career once he’s done in the NBA, it should come easy for the Point God. Regarded as one of the most cerebral players in the history of the NBA, it would be a joy for basketball fans to hear his thoughts on any game or series he covers. Paul, who just turned 39 earlier this month, has one more year left on his current deal with the Warriors.
