Golden State Warriors news: It’s only natural that more than a few folks out there are questioning the fact that the Los Angeles Lakers selected Bronny James as the No. 55 overall pick of the 2024 NBA Draft. After all, some reports have indicated that the eldest son of LeBron James would have gone undrafted if the Lakers passed on him in the second round.
Warriors star Draymond Green, though, is having none of it.
Golden State Warriors News: Draymond Green Is a Fan of Bronny James

Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, Green shared his honest thoughts on Bronny entering the NBA. The former Defensive Player of the Year pointed out that the fact that the 19-year-old is just one year removed from a serious health scare involving his heart. According to Green, this is a true “testament to his work ethic.”
Draymond also believes that Bronny is destined to succeed in the NBA:
“I actually think Bronny is going to end up being a better pro than a lot of these players in this draft because he has the athleticism, has the basketball IQ, plays the game the right way. … He has LeBron James’ DNA, and I’mma take the bet on that.”

Green also stated that this was a great pick-up by the Lakers. He is confident that Bronny will be able to establish himself as a rotational player in the league in a couple of years, which should justify this polarizing decision by the LA front office.
