Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry had a different all-time starting five last season. In an interview with Buzzfeed, Curry named Shaquille O’Neal, Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson as the players in his all-time starting five.
On Friday, the Warriors star was interviewed by sports and comedy group Dude Perfect. Tyler Toney, one of the group’s founders, asked Curry to list his all-time starting five. To the surprise of many, he had a different starting five this time.
“Shaq at the center, Tim Duncan at the power forward, LeBron at the three, MJ at the two, and me at the one,” Curry said.

Curry named himself as part of his all-time starting five, replacing Magic at the point guard spot. The Golden State Warriors star removed the late Kobe Bryant and included his friend and rival, LeBron James.
His new list follows the traditional basketball positions, staying true to the positions of the players he named. In the past, the only player on his list who was out of position was Bryant. In the 20 seasons he played, he spent three seasons at the small forward spot.
Stephen Curry’s teammate reveals the argument he had with the head coach of the Golden State Warriors
Despite a 10-2 record this season, the Golden State Warriors aren’t exempt from having small arguments in the game. Warriors forward Draymond Green spoke about the heated moment that Curry had with Steve Kerr during their game on Nov. 6.
In the game, Curry threw an outlet pass to forward Kyle Anderson. Unfortunately for the Warriors, their longstanding coach was irritated when the point guard turned the ball over. Green talked about the moment between their star player and Kerr on the Wednesday episode of “The Draymond Green Show.”

“When I saw it, I just go to Steph and reassure him like, ‘Yeah, we’re good. F–k that. Let’s move on,’ ” Green said. “Just to make sure his head stays in the right place. People respond to things differently, and you never know what response you’re going to get.” (35:11)
So I’m immediately watching that and I see it, and I’m watching Steph’s reaction and how he responds to it. If he responds negatively, I’ve already told myself I need to go talk to Coach and make sure Coach understands the reaction, to make sure Coach understands Steph ain’t respond great to you yelling at him like that. Let’s just keep an eye on that.
Green said that he paid close attention to Curry in the game that he caught himself watching his teammate even during the postgame press conference.
