Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors continues to make history with his outside shooting. On Tuesday, the Warriors had a 130-104 victory against the Sacramento Kings, led by Curry. The team was led by Draymond Green, who had an unusually high-scoring performance. Green had 23 points, four rebounds and four assists on 57.1% shooting from deep.
Although Green led the team, it was Curry who had most of the attention. The two-time MVP made history against the Kings as he became the first player to make 4,000 shots from the 3-point area. The four-time champion had 11 points and five assists on 33.3% shooting from deep. It happened during the third quarter when the 6-foot-3 guard shot a three over Trey Lyles and DeMar DeRozan.

Stephen Curry reflects on his accomplishment

When it comes to shooting outside, there aren’t many players who can compete with Stephen Curry. But Curry is in a different league due to his skill and brilliance. He thought back on his performance after the game and wants to know how much longer he can maintain his dominance from three.
“Hit it on the number… a really cool milestone,” Curry said. “See how far we can push this thing but definitely a special accomplishment.
He also spoke about how important it was to set the record in San Francisco.
“It was a special moment to do it at home, the 2,974 record in New York was great it was an unbelieveable environment in Madison Square [Garden]. But to do it in front of our home fans and — it was a weird game, I didn’t get many attempts up… I felt the energy, it was special.”
