There is still uncertainty about the status of injured Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry.
The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player did not travel with his team for the start of the Dubs’ six-game road trip on Saturday versus the Atlanta Hawks after suffering an injury to his pelvis in a previous contest.
Curry hurt his pelvis after a bad fall in the third quarter of a 117-114 victory at home last week against the Toronto Raptors.

However, it appears that there is a chance for the future Basketball Hall of Famer to rejoin his team before the end of Golden State’s current road trip.
Steve Kerr said he is hopeful that Steph Curry will rejoin the Warriors at some point on this road trip. He will be re-evaluated on Monday. Warriors play at Miami on Tuesday, at New Orleans on Friday, San Antonio next Sunday, Memphis following Tuesday and at Lakers on Thursday.
The Golden State Warriors need Stephen Curry for a strong regular-season finish

Without Curry, the Warriors failed to overcome Trae Young and the Hawks, with Golden State absorbing a 124-115 loss.
There is a sense of urgency for Golden State to win more games as the 2024-25 NBA regular season reaches the home stretch. The Warriors are sixth in the Western Conference standings with a 41-30 record through Sunday, but they are also just half a game ahead of the seventh-place Minnesota Timberwolves.
Second-year pro Brandin Podziemski started in the Hawks game in lieu of Curry in thbe backcourt, scoring 19 points with eight rebounds and four assists plus a steal while shooting 6-for-14 and hitting five 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
The former Santa Clara Broncos star can be expected to get another nod to start this Tuesday in South Beach versus the Miami Heat if Curry gets ruled out again.
