The Golden State Warriors aim to halt their two-game slide when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans later, and they received an injury boost ahead of the match.

Stephen Curry returned to practice and is upgraded as questionable to return from a pelvic injury he sustained against the Toronto Raptors last Thursday.
“He looked really good,” Kerr said via ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk. “He is going to go through his individual workout like he did the other day. That is where he can really feel and test certain things. I am optimistic (he will return Friday).”

“I hope he plays tomorrow. We obviously could use him,” Podziemski added. “But we rather have him be 100% healthy instead of rushing him back.”
Golden State Warriors aim to secure a Top 6 spot
The Golden State Warriors have 10 games left in the regular season. After the New Orleans Pelicans match, they will face the San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers, and Los Angeles Clippers.

They are seventh in the Western Conference at 41-31. Golden State don’t want to go through the play-in tournament to confirm their playoff spot, so every result counts for them in the next few days.
Curry’s impending return is a boost for the Golden State Warriors, as he has been their best player. The two-time league MVP averages 24.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.1 steals on 45/39/93 shooting splits across 60 appearances.
