The John Wooden All-American Team is a prestigious recognition in college basketball, honoring the most outstanding players in the sport. This year, the team includes standout athletes such as Paige Bueckers, Lauren Betts, and Madison Booker, among others.

Among the honorees, TCU’s Hailey Van Lith has been a remarkable presence. In her first season with the Horned Frogs, Van Lith led the team to unprecedented success, including their first Big 12 regular season and conference tournament titles. She set single-season records for points and assists at TCU, earning accolades such as Big 12 Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year.

Van Lith’s journey to this recognition is a testament to her resilience and determination. After transferring from LSU, she found a new home at TCU and rediscovered her passion for the game.
Will Hailey Van Lith Declare for The 2025 WNBA Draft?
Hailey Van Lith is expected to declare for the 2025 WNBA Draft, as she is finishing her final season of NCAA eligibility with TCU. Her stellar performances this season have significantly boosted her draft stock, with recent mock drafts placing her as a strong candidate for a first-round pick.
Mock drafts project Van Lith to be selected in the mid-to-late first round. Teams like the Los Angeles Sparks, Washington Mystics, and Chicago Sky are potential landing spots. Despite her smaller stature at 5’9″, her pick-and-roll efficiency, leadership, and ability to thrive under pressure make her a desirable addition to any WNBA roster. Her Olympic experience and consistent growth further solidify her potential as a professional player.

Despite not making the Final Four stage, Van Lith has led TCU this season in its first-ever Elite Eight appearance. This milestone marks a significant moment for the program, showcasing its growth and success under Coach Mark Campbell’s leadership.
This season, Hailey Van Lith averaged 17.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. Her shooting efficiency has been notable, with a 45.9% field goal percentage and an 81.7% free throw percentage.
