Hannah Hidalgo, Notre Dame Fighting Irish guard, recently won ACC Player of the Year and also ACC Defensive Player of the Year, adding more feathers to her cap. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish had an astounding regular season and finished at the top of the ACC with a 16-2 conference score and 25-4 overall.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish played against the Louisville Cardinals in the last game of the season and won with a bang. Notre Dame is currently scheduled to take on the California Golden Bears for the ACC Tournament in a few hours.

Hannah Hidalgo has been playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish since 2023, after finishing her high school years at Paul VI. Last year, Hidalgo won the Dawn Staley award, and also managed to be crowned MVP in the ACC Tournament.

Apart from college basketball, Hidalgo has also represented the USA on an international level in the 2022 FIBA Under-17 Women’s Basketball World Cup in Hungary, and the 2023 FIBA Under-19 Women’s Basketball World Cup in Spain.
Hannah Hidalgo And Notre Dame Fighting Irish To Play Against California Golden Bears In ACC Tournament
Meanwhile, Hannah Hidalgo and the rest of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be locking horns with the California Golden Bears for the ACC Tournament in a few hours. While the Fighting Irish finished their regular season at the top of the ACC table with a 16-2 conference score, and 25-4 overall, the California Golden Bears finished seventh with a 12-6 conference score, and 25-7 overall.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish played against the Louisville Cardinals in the final game of their regular season and won with a final score of 72-59. Against the Cardinals, Hannah Hidalgo led Notre Dame’s offense with 20 points, grabbing nine rebounds and assisting six times, while Olivia Miles added another 15 points for the team, with five boards and three helpers.

In this college basketball season, Notre Dame’s lead scorer is Hannah Hidalgo with a 24.2 point average, while Olivia Miles chalked up an average of 16.5 points per matchup. Sonia Citron turned out to be the third-highest scorer with a 14.2 point average this season. Coach Niele Ivey completed yet another spectacular season with the team this year. This year makes Ivey’s fifth season with the Fighting Irish.
