Houston Rockets center Steven Adams was ejected during the team’s 111-104 win against the Phoenix Suns yesterday after he got into it with Mason Plumlee while battling for inside position in the second quarter. Adams and Plumlee got tangled up, and both bigs fell to the ground while wrestling each other.

As Adams and Plumlee got separated, the Houston Rockets had a huge grin and drew a standing ovation as he walked off the floor. Head coach Ime Udoka suggested it was all child’s play for the New Zealander during the postgame presser.
“There wasn’t much,” Udoka said via ClutchFans on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Steven could do a lot more if he was really trying to wrestle. It looked like they got in a little bear hug and fell down. I thought that would maybe be a technical at best. Surprised they were ejected.”

Adams left the game with one point, four rebounds, and one assist in 11 minutes. His early exit opened up some playing time for Jock Landale.
Houston Rockets extend their winning streak
The Houston Rockets have now won four straight games after beating the Phoenix Suns. Jalen Green led with 29 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals on 8-for-16 shooting from the field and 10-for-11 from the free throw line.

Alperen Sengun, Dillon Brooks, Tari Eason, and Fred VanVleet added 20, 19, 15, and 10 points.
Phoenix tried to rally, as they were trailing by double digits for most of the night. They cut the deficit to eight points with less than 10 minutes left in the final period, but Houston used a 9-2 run to pad their lead and never looked back.
