Although she has been exceptional on the court for the Indiana Fever this season, All-Star guard Caitlin Clark admitted that she won’t do well if she did swimming or gymnastics. But if forced to choose one, the WNBA rookie chose the former with a surprisingly good reason.
Clark, the highly anticipated 2024 WNBA first overall draft pick, has had an impressive rookie season so far with the Indiana Fever. In her first 26 games, she is averaging 17.1 points, 8.2 assists, 5.8 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game.

One of the standout moments of Clark’s rookie campaign came in a game against the Dallas Wings, where she set a new WNBA single-game assist record with 19 dimes. Despite the Fever’s 101-93 loss, Her playmaking abilities were on full display as she continuously found open teammates for scoring opportunities.
In another game against the Minnesota Lynx, Clark’s strong fourth-quarter performance propelled the Fever to an 81-74 victory. She scored 10 of her 17 points in the final period, showcasing her clutch factor and ability to take over games.
The Fever star’s impressive double-double performances have also been a highlight of her rookie season. She recorded her fifth consecutive double-double with 20 points and 13 assists in a 95-86 win over the Phoenix Mercury, further solidifying her status as a rising star in the WNBA.
As the season progresses, fans will continue to follow the Indiana guard’s journey and see if she can maintain her high-level production and lead the Fever to success in the competitive WNBA.
Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark Chooses Swimming Over Gymnastics For One Good Reason

It’s a given Clark has excelled during her first season in the WNBA. But according to video Indiana posted on its Instagram account, the rookie chose swimming as an alternative sport over gymnastics for a good reason.

While there’s little chance Clark does take up swimming over basketball, there’s a bigger possibility she plays golf instead. Just recently, the Indiana star said that she’ll be testing her new golf clubs during the WNBA’s Olympic break.

Whether she remains on the court or tries out a new sport, fans can expect a lot of hype to follow Clark in whatever she’ll do. Expect that hype to shoot back up once the WNBA returns soon as teams will push to get a spot in the playoffs.
