The 2024 WNBA All-Star break is here, and it’s going to be a long one, as the league won’t resume until after the 2024 Paris Olympics. That means Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever, as is all the other teams, will not see action for weeks.
Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark will not take part in the WNBA 3-point contest
The WNBA released its list of participants for the 3-point contest with Clark not among the five in the field. Instead, Stefanie Dolson of the Washington Mystics, Allisha Gray of the Atlanta Dream, Jonquel Jones of the New York Liberty, Marina Mabrey of the Connecticut Sun, and Kayla McBride of the Minnesota Lynx comprise the contestants for the shooting event.
Clark, who isn’t part of Team USA, will still see action in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game but not in the 3-point contest, and that has fans perplexed.

“This is a joke !!! Like how is CC not participating in neither of these games? lol wow”
“So we only watching on Saturday. Got it”
“Does anyone actually know what happened here, how this was decided? Who was eligible/did people decline at all? It seems so weird.”
“This league makes some weird a** decisions, man.”

“Bad news for the contest”
“We will NOT be watching!”
“I won’t be watching”
Clark’s absence takes away lots of shine from the event, considering her popularity. But it’s not just because of that because the former Iowa Hawkeyes star is also among the most dangerous deep threats in the league. On the season, Clark is fifth in the WNBA with 2.7 made threes per game on a 32.7 percent success rate.
