The Indiana Pacers have done it. After starting out their Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the New York Knicks down 0-2, Tyrese Haliburton and Co. have crawled their way all the way back to score a decisive Game 7 victory on Sunday night, 130-109.
It’s Indiana who will now be heading to the East Finals against the mighty Boston Celtics. For his part, however, Haliburton could not help but fire one final parting shot at the Knicks after putting them out of their misery on Sunday.
Indiana Pacers News: Tyrese Haliburton Goes Full Savage on Knicks
Haliburton’s wardrobe choice was a clear shot at the Knicks. The All-Star point guard decided to attend his post-game press conference wearing a hoodie that featured Pacers icon Reggie Miller. It wasn’t just any photo of the Hall of Famer either, as the hoodie highlighted Miller’s legendary choke sign from two decades ago:

For those that require a bit of a history lesson, Miller busted out this unforgettable celebration during the 1994 NBA Playoffs against the New York Knicks. This was after the Pacers shooting guard led Indiana to an iconic victory in Madison Square Garden.
That bit of savagery from one of the greatest shooters this game has ever seen has since lived in infamy. Haliburton just had to use it to send one final message to the Knicks now that their season is over.
The fact that Haliburton and the Pacers destroyed the Knicks in MSG in Game 7 is what makes all this even more poetic. For his part, Haliburton stepped up in a major way for Indiana in this one, finishing with a team-high 26 points on 10-of-17 shooting, to go along with four rebounds, six assists, a steal, a block, and six triples in 33 minutes of action.
The Pacers are now set to face a whole new monster in Boston, with Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals scheduled on Tuesday night.
