If you did not think that the Indiana Pacers were back in business after their Game 3 win over the New York Knicks last Friday, you must be feeling it right now, as Tyrese Haliburton and company won again on Sunday, 121-89.
With the series now tied at 2-2, the Pacers have all their confidence back, especially with the nature of how they beat Jalen Brunson and the Knicks; the Pacers completely dominated New York in Game 4, leaving no doubts and nothing for their naysayers to hold on to.
Tyrese Haliburton Sounds off After the Indiana Pacers Tied the Series
The Pacers outscored the Knicks in every quarter of Game 4, perhaps none more glaring than the 34-14 edge they had in scoring in the opening quarter that completely set the tone in favor of Indiana.
“We just handled business from start to finish. I think that’s part of the maturation of this group,” Haliburton said following the Pacers’ demolition of New York at home (via Tony East of All Pacers on SI).
It was a balanced attack as well for the Pacers, with Haliburton leading his team with 20 points, while TJ McConnell came off the bench and added 15 points. As a team, the Pacers shot over 56 percent from the field and hit 14 of 31 attempts from behind the arc.
Indiana will now head to the Big Apple again for Game 5, but this time, with momentum completely on its side. That’s not to mention that the Pacers have just ensured there is at least one more game to be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
